1993-02-18 Reba Knoxville, TN 13:05 Great drumming through the composed section mellows into a smooth, Mike-driven beat. Trey modifies his tone and hits a series of scattershot notes before infusing the jam with a warm melody and cool trilling. The band toys with an array of tempos and speeds before Trey seizes upon a great theme which is worked though a strong build into a nice peak.
1993-02-18 Mike's Knoxville, TN 7:08 After a nice "In The Hall Of The Mountaint King" tease from Page, the 1st jam is centered around "Another One Bites The Dust" (Queen) teasing, then the 2nd jam features more jamming to the same tune, but in a twisted and distorted way.
1993-07-29 Possum Knoxville, TN 10:26 Very cool beginning to the jam, and Trey is tuly superb throughout, embracing a variety of styles and tecniques.
1993-07-30 Reba Antioch, TN 13:56 A pretty, inspired, patient, and increidbly quiet jam (check this out with headphones) which, in addition to melodic, and typically inventive Trey, features wonderful work from Page. Mike and Fish maintain a breezy, airy sort of rhythm as the version steadily gains momentum, the musicians nicely modulating, before Trey trakes over, building the jam to a blistering peak.
1993-07-30 Fluffhead Antioch, TN 14:43 Little sprinkles of improvisational play throughout this great version, and Page is notably strong. Who Do? We Do! is dynamic and filled with great Fish, leading the team. Mike compliments Page's solo in Clod quite nicely, while Trey and Fish stretch the celebratory victory lap in Arrival out just a bit. There is a cool, gradual fade-out to this version, with Trey switching to acoustic guitar.

1994-04-25 Foam Knoxville, TN 9:35 > in from "Fee." Page's solo is dynamic, with both subtle and louder moments. Cool band-wide collective improvisation during Trey's solo, and a high-octane ending.
1994-04-25 SOAMelt Knoxville, TN 13:50 Fantastic, improvisational version that expertly combines far-ranging exploration with captivating, spell-binding playing. Fish is incredible throughout, and the blistering conclusion is icing on the cake.

1994-10-12 Bowie Memphis, TN 16:51 Enchanting, Page-led early part to jam. At 9:00, Fish and Trey kick it up to more typically intense mode. At 12:25, a calm envelopes, before the storm returns. Excellent "Bowie."
1994-10-16 Fluffhead Chattanooga, TN 14:20 Right from the start, this excellent version is loaded with sprinkles of improvisation, well worth the visit despite minor flaws. Unlike most '94 performances, this one seems less intense and high power, and instead, adopts a more experimental approach. From Fluff's Travels to little spots in Clod, this "Fluffhead" is just a bit different than most. Page's piano solo in Clod is wild and crazy, while Trey's guitar efforts in Arrival seem to visit some slightly new territory.
1994-10-16 Antelope Chattanooga, TN 12:30 Dissonant and improvisational jam that gets way out there at a couple of points, and has a little Trey solo in the "Marco" section.

1994-10-18 Reba Nashville, TN 17:34 A huge "Reba" remarkable in that the band departs a really pointed and direct groove to enter a passag of marked space, noted, as some, for sharing similar qualities of "Eyes of the World." Complete with "Dave's Energy Guide" teasing, an experimental, probing version which again pushes against traditional form and convention.

1994-10-18 Llama Nashville, TN 10:25 It's like a "Mule Duel" between Page and Trey, except this is a "Llama Duel" between Bela Fleck, Page and Trey. The duel starts with acoustic instruments before switching to electric. Incredible, must-hear version. Sbd available on FTA - Bonnaroo Pt. 1.
1995-06-14 Tweezer Memphis, TN 49:49 Legendary "Mud Island Tweezer." It took over a set. Longest "Tweezer" in history. A masterpiece.
1995-11-29 Reba Nashville, TN 15:27 Almost two months removed from Shoreline's speedy "Reba," the band again takes flight, whipping through the composed section at warp speed. The ensuing jam, while metered, does not relent, with passionate, inspired Trey leading the way, while focused, full-band play is infused with great syncopation and rich melodic variation.
1995-11-29 Timber Nashville, TN 8:31 Set II opener. Unusual intro. Intense with ferocious percussion. Page jumps to the B-3 briefly to provide an unusual and chilling effect. Multiple movements in this incredible, jarring jam that will rattle your skull. > to "Sparkle."
1995-11-29 Possum Nashville, TN 17:20 Extended, percussive intro, almost like a "Bowie." Soaring, multiple peak jam with awesome Trey and Fish.
1995-11-29 Taste That Surrounds Nashville, TN 7:58 With Bela Fleck on banjo. This is a fantastic version; the banjo is a perfect addition for an intense, rhythmically complex, song like "Taste."

1996-11-06 Mike's Knoxville, TN 23:37 In '96, the band seemed to stretch out the "Type I" 1st jam considerably, and this one is a good example, which continues to 10:05, but not much really happens in that time. In the 2nd jam, Page treats us to a run through his gamut of keyboard toys, including the Moog, B-3, Fender-Rhodes, and piano, while Trey is noticeably hanging back in a support role.

1999-09-29 2001 Memphis, TN 21:33 Alice in Wonderland on DMT. This is "2001: A Space Odyssey". The first jam will send you to another galaxy, while the second jam will blow your brains out. An all time great.
2000-06-22 LxL Antioch, TN 9:36 Why many folks consider the "LxL" jam somewhat similar to The Grateful Dead's "Crazy Fingers." Trey soars in this version.

2009-06-10 Reba Knoxville, TN 12:41 Excellent full-band play featuring quiet, expansive and contemplative work from Trey, whose warm tone is complimented in great part by Page. Mike and Fish modify the beat, and the musicians dial the jam down to an all but erasure of sound. Mike and Trey team to rebuild momentum, before Trey summons a few chords and, shaping his sound, directs the band into a passage of measured and progressive space.
2009-06-12 KDF Manchester, TN 15:18 The first "Type II" version. Led by Trey, the jam slowly drifts from the typical blues-rock into a whammy-filled, major-key groove not unlike the famous 7/10/99 "CDT" in spots. Ends with a -> to "Free."
2015-08-04 Wolfman's Nashville, TN 10:34 Mike and Fish set a great chunky and snappy groove in the first part of the jam which Page and Trey ride to great effect, and quite patiently. Then they flip the switch and the jam concludes with the expected power peak.
2015-08-04 Mike's Nashville, TN 14:27 For the first time in over 15 years, the band breaks into a bona fide 2nd jam. While the 1st is typical 3.0 stuff, and the transition unusual, all is forgiven as the 2nd jam begins in classic "Mike's" rocking and rhythmic playing before settling. After 10:30 the jam develops a dark and introspective bent, and Trey's time "in the woodshed" before the FTW concerts is noticeable in his soloing.
2015-08-04 Weekapaug Nashville, TN 13:50 Following a nice tempo slow down early on, the jam departs the standard and coalesces on an "Electric Funeral"-like theme (Black Sabbath). "C&P" vocal quotes are added as the jam picks up tempo and returns to familiar "Weekapaug" ground.
2016-10-18 Twist Nashville, TN 15:48 This "Twist" gets Weir'd from the beginning as the (new) band continues getting their sea legs, but once things get rolling, they stay Weir'd throughout in the best way possible. Not the deepest version ever, but must-hear nonetheless.
2016-10-18 Playing in the Band Nashville, TN 11:28 The only Phish version of "Playing in the Band" marks the peak of Bob Weir's Nashville sit-in. Upbeat and melodic, this jam serves as a nice reprisal of Trey's GD50 work.
2016-10-19 Tube Nashville, TN 6:40 "Tube" continued its '16 comeback campaign with this sweet version featuring active back and forth between Page and Trey and a Moog-filled climax.
2016-10-19 Tweezer Nashville, TN 16:48 Funky, powerful start transitions to a melodic plateau with soaring improv.
2016-10-19 Plasma Nashville, TN 8:40 "Plasma" assumes a fluid, late second-set form. Atmospheric and introspective, with strong elements of "Timber (Jerry)," Mike and Fish create a brooding, cosmic space within which Page provides on-point fills, and Trey works through a number of styles and rhythmic shifts, coloring the jam with really cool and pensive "feedback" intraplay.
2016-10-19 Hood Nashville, TN 16:23 On the heels of a strong "Plasma," yet another wandering "Hood" serves to anchor a strong show. While the exploratory sections (5:00 - 12:30) offer some excellent playing, the return home leaves room for improvement.
