Review by thelot

thelot The SBD source for night 3 sounds a little better than the first two nights. Definitely the cleanest recording of the run.

Split Open starts things off after a lengthy tuning session. Solid version. There doesn’t seem to be as many people in attendance for this last show. Sky was splendid. Short narration in between Forbin>Mockingbird. I love the old version of Rift. Mike’s Groove closes out the first set on a high note. Another fantastic version of Groove!

It sounds like more people showed up for the second set. I Didn’t Know featured a female member from the audience (Karen) on drums. Her friends were pretty pumped she made it up on stage with Phish. Playful version of Suzy. Another fantastic Tweezer! Inspired Mike vocals towards the end of Gin. Bold as Love was dedicated to Hamm and CCott for making a barbecue dinner. Iron Man tease before an inspired Heavy Metal Wilson! Nice drawn out segue from Fee into Bowie. Incredible version of Bowie tonight! Highlight of the Steamboat run. The recording picks up the after show PA music again. This time Paul went with Harry Belafonte’s Day-O.
