This show was taped for VH-1’s Hard Rock Live and was first broadcast on July 1, 2000. The show was announced only a week before the gig took place. Non-transferable wristbands for entry were sold at the venue box office the morning before the show, with a limit of one per person. Ya Mar included an extended jam in the abnormal key of “A” at Trey’s on-stage request. During the soundcheck of this show, Driver and Ginseng were played multiple times, and there was a jam on Led Zeppelin’s Dancing Days before Long Cool Woman.

Review by westbrook

westbrook This is a pretty standard show but there is high quality video out there of the whole thing. You can watch Set 1 at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKDFME8WEVs and set 2 at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDw_slfdgs4. As for the highlights of the show, I would say Ya Mar is the only must-hear jam but hearing Trey flubb Cavern badly is entertaining as well.

Colasis I did a review of first set for this show on my website which you can read here:

a snip of how I felt while listening;

"An anticipated and much wanted, Its Ice, comes down with that 'straight out of the fucking bullpen' opening riff. The crowds screaming is audible, even over the SBD tape edits. This was going to be a little goddamn crazy."

runawayjay Nice YEM into a saucy Antelope. The first set is fairly standard except the Ya Mar that gets into some weird territory. Altogether a good show to check out.
