Hell, I was at that SPAC show and didn't recognize the jam. It isn't often that you get to see Page's dad tap dancing.

ah, i know. i suspected it was actually a 2.0 show once i realized it wasn't one of my 98 or 99 go-tos. i've listened to this far too often. but then I had to leave the house and knew someone would have it by now. that's ok, i'll take solace in the fact that i saw this show. what a ridiculous set. there were some train wrecks in 04 to be sure, but i definitely saw some of my favorite shows since 94 in the 2.0 years.

Page picks it up and then we`re in this disco-ish zone, think 12/31/99 SOAM meets the end of the 8/10/97 Cities jam. Trey throws in a Seven Belowish-lick at about 12:30 and Page is layering gorgeously. Fish is bringing it up and down with slick high-hats really quick. FISH AT 16:30! Mike so solid under him, and we`re in old-school Gin peak mode. 17:22 sounds like the Went Gin. Sounds like Gin to me... I can see the twist from saratoga 2004...but I haven't possessed/heard that show for a long time even though I was there. It was a great 'final' tour but I think I unconsciously try to block it out of my memory.

amazing jam. seven below into an abnormal ghost and then into this 20 minute twist. outstanding piece of psychedelia right here.
