The YEM vocal jam contained Hava Nagila teases from Fish. This second set listing is incomplete. A local band, The Jolly Llamas, opened.

Review by TheEmu

TheEmu For what is available of this show, the Tweezer is definitely the highlight. It was played for Fish's birthday, because he likes it so much, and comes complete with vocal wackiness and some FAT Cactus. Everything else seems pretty standard to me, so 3 stars from this bird.

"Larger than Jim Backus, it's the Cactus."

Review by thelot

thelot Not the best source tape but it’s a decent enough audience recording for this first and partial second set. The recording levels run hot causing saturation.

A nice Buried Alive>Cavern>Possum gets the party started. Demented little Tweezer! Afterwards, Trey says that was a late birthday gift to Fish because he really likes that song. Well played versions of Llama, YEM and Magilla follow.

Foam cuts in during the jam to start the tape of set 2. Decent Sky. Unfortunately, the recording fades out during Guelah. The rest of the set is lost to history. I’m fascinated that the band weren’t archiving their performances by this point!
