MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 404

Welcome to the 404th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the third contest of February. The winner will receive two MP3 download codes courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the songs and dates of both mystery clips. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Good luck!

Answer: Congrats to @Ry_storm on his first win! This week, he knew his 3.0 NICU jams like the back of his hand and snagged two codes for the two clips identified: 8/10/18 "NICU" and 7/27/14 "NICU." Will he leave any left turns unstoned next week? Come back Monday, on a freeway, in Los Angeles, for MJM405.

Ry_storm I DID IT

8/10/18 NICU
7/27/14 NICU

Caught the early HYHU riff in the second one and could tell by Page's synth/Trey's weird spacey effect that the other one was 2018 AND knew that Raleigh had a jammed out version

GAH I was losing my mind combing 2017 jams for like 2 hours for that first clip but this is definitely it.

You can tell it's 2018 because of that spacey weird effect from Trey - we first heard it on the TAB Trio tour and it was present most of the year (you can hear it in the background through the whole clip but I think it's especially clear at around 40 seconds)

Nice work! I thought the first clip sounded like 2018 as well, but I never even sniffed NICU. And I just didn’t have enough time during the workday to really look.

It's actually mostly luck here - I just had a rewatch of the 7/27/14 Tweezerfest yesterday so picked up on the -> into HYHU from that NICU, which lead me to believe the other was from the same song :)
