This show featured the Phish debut of Lullaby of Birdland. Trey teased Amazing Grace before Runaway Jim. The Secret Language Instructions featured the introductions of the Simpsons, Random Note, Turn Turn Turn, and All Fall Down signals. David Bowie subsequently contained a Simpsons signal. The second set was performed a cappella and without microphones due to a small flood in the theatre. Authorities refused to allow the band to plug in their instruments, including the Bag-Vac. I Didn't Know featured Fish on trombone.

DollarBill What a bummer that the second set got cancelled, this show sounds better than the previous two. I guess they couldn't plug in a tape recorder either.

Anyway, pretty good half-show. Lots of teases here and there. It almost sounds like a "Few of my Favorite Things" tease and "Have you Ever Seen a Lassie" from Page before the Secret Language. Not sure what the "Lullaby of Birdland" teases are all about, they seem to be pretty common around this timeframe. Movie soundtrack or something?
