Notes: This show, performed on Fishman’s birthday, had many classic moments, including Happy Birthday teases before Coil, during Bowie and Weekapaug, and before and after Love You. Bowie also contained Charlie Chan and Complete Stop signals. The Bowie intro also included a How High the Moon tease from Mike. The Whole Lotta Love jam segued out of the vacuum solo in Love You. Magilla contained a Flintstones theme tease from Trey. The Janglers were the opening act.

This show was part of the "1991 Winter/Spring Tour."

TheEmu Happy Birthday to Fishman! This is very solid show, both sound-wise and performance wise. The Bowie absolutely rages, although I thought the PA went out or something when they did the stop-on-a-dime trick, but then BAM, right back to the jam! SOAMelt also has an interesting start, and I think the other highlight, for me, was a pretty good Magilla. I didn't realize they did the Whole Lotta Love thing more than once (I listened to 2/19 and 2/22 backwards) so that was fun again, and Fishman wishing Debbie Reed a happy birthday before realizing she had left and then saying "To hell with Debbie Reed!" was hilarious, and the post Love You noodling -> Oh Kee Pa was kind of interesting. Still and all, I think this show belongs somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I'm going 3.

I saw this show, having never heard of Phish at the time, but was reccomended by a friend. Probably about 100 people in the audience, and I remember thinking that it was the craziest show I had ever seen, particularly recall the "Whole Lotta Love" on a vaccuum cleaner....
