Half the seating area was empty chairs when Phish played. A small group of us ran to the stage to support our boys though!
I actually have a recollection of stage hands taking the microphones away during the end jam of Runaway Jim!!
The best part was meeting Mike out on the lawn after Phish's set. We talked to him until the start of Santana's set, then just stood and listened to the show with him! A crew member finally ran out, all breathless saying "Come on man!!" took Mike away... and 3 minutes later Mike was onstage with Santana.
I loved hangin with Mike this afternoon. He was friendly, funny, and genuinely cool. What did we talk about? Gamehendge. (Haha!!! That was the one thing Mike didn't talk about, only said "You'll have to ask Trey about that"). We talked very deeply about "You Enjoy Myself," we talked about bands he liked, we talked about (and made fun of) my sleepy hometown. I remember asking Mike how they remembered all of that complex material, and he said "eh, it's easy." (? yeh maybe for some!!!) We laughed alot, and I'll never forget it.

Still waiting to hear this one again... I don't remember it at all. I do remember the sun setting over the band and thinking it was a really great place to see Phish... Also the whole band was on stage with Santana at one point. That was killer.

My first show... 28 years ago today. I remember being really excited to see Tweezer. Finger Lakes is a great spot for a show. It was a beautiful night... Phish played until just a bit before sundown. The Phish portion was lightly attended. Shortest Phish show I ever saw... beginning of an amazing trek with this band.

No recording found. Looks like a pretty normal set. Nothing different. The back end looks good with Coil, Tweezer and Jim.

My Phish journey began at this show 32 years ago today. My memory is very fuzzy. I was very drunk. but i do remember the few phish fans there crowding the stage during Phish's set.
