yEEt_1331 If you’re looking for sprawling tentpole jams, this is not your night. However, in my humble opinion, Phish more than made up for that with tight, coherent play, creative segues and damn near PERFECT song choices. There wasn’t a single song thrown in the mix that abruptly slowed down or threw off the flow of the show in a major way, and by modern Phish standards that means a lot. This is a show that looks ho-hum on paper but is definitely worth a second listen. I give it a 7.75/10

nickavv This show was really fun start to finish. First set was a great time with a nice jam out of Everything's Right with a smooth segue into Rift, a nice patient build-up in Gin, and a rockin rollin Rock and Roll to close out.

Second set however had serious flow. Not one moment of downtime, with excellent transitions and great song choices. The energy was perfect, the grooves were groovy, just a heck of a set.

Very fun encore choices and a magnificent Slave to send us home. Was a great start to what will surely be a great summer

Tahoe Fun show. Lots of great transitions, minimal flubs (end of mikes and rift only ones that stood out). Strong energy in second set and great song choice throughout. Encore was the cherry on top of a fun Friday night.

N1 blew this show out of the water, however. Quality of jams and smoothness of transitions in N1 were the best for a tour that I’ve seen through 13 years. Second set n2 had several rip cords and no cohesive peaking jams. 4/5

macdaddy4642 like some others mentioned set 2 was a blast, high energy rock and roll and the energy of the crowd was just straight bliss, dancing, and happiness. phish opened the portal and the crowd stepped right in.

I was in some pretty good pavilion seats for set 2 and during blaze on you could just see the elation that filled the room left to right.

personal statistics I got my first water in the sky, perhaps golden age, and NICU but by NICU I might have been snoozing on the lawn from my own doing. I was at Mansfield last in 2016, when the power went out and the sound sucked and left that experience hating Mansfield. in 2022 I I left absolutely loving Mansfield.

Review by thegman335

thegman335 Solid but not spectacular show like night one. 46 Days was a hot opener and I love the fast Water in the Sky. Everything's Right started getting deep but Trey ripcorded it for a decent Rift. Wolfman's was standard and the return of fast Maze was good. I'm a 3.0 Maze hater but Page's solo section was a heater. Gin was one of the better type 1 versions in recent years with patient interplay by all the members. Golden Age had a pretty nice jam and Trey called for The Howling which is just a fun funk tune that gives me 2001 vibes.

My hopes for a deep Mike's second set opener were dashed as Trey signaled the ending which Fish flubbed a bit. Carini quickly settled into a very nice groove which segued perfectly into Blaze On. A short jam followed which bled seamlessly into Golden Age, a song that I despise. But seriously, these two segues were buttery smooth and immediately jump to a best 3.0 segue list. Hood contained some unique bluesy jamming but didn't have much of a peak.

Overall a decent show with some great segues in the second set, but no mind-blowing jams. 7.5/10
