Review by nadslibra

nadslibra As much as I have been enjoying 3.0, I have started to listen to old shows, I attended and remember the OMG feeling when it was so new and fresh

For me this show will always be 5 stars my first show!!

As NY deadhead, you kinda sorta heard about this band "granola" (what they used to call jam bands band) called Phish
seen the t-shirt at many dead shows

A buddy encouraged me to come along as he knew I loved Dead, Zappa, Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, etc....
Had know idea what I was in for !! They opened w a song about Pond Scum???? Bouncing on trampolines while playing, playing the vacuum playing while wearing goggles and and dress, playing the trombone, sweating my ass off, dancing my head off- Led Zeppelin on steroids jamming , FOAM - the first time you hear this song you'll never be the same, and jamming Alvenu Malkanu - seriously a Passover prayer??? a song about Suzy Greenberg , okay I'm Jewish and apparently so are they, the all while dosing my head off

Yes, I was hooked- no pun intended

Oh the Wetlands..... one place that really was as good as you remember

Blues Traveler for $9.00 on random Tuesday night smoking a big fat joint in the basement on the bean bag chairs and a bj from some kinda hot , maybe not, deadhead chick from Clarkson , wherever the hell that is.... The Wetlands
