MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 482

Welcome to the 482nd edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the second puzzle of November. The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of both mystery clips, which are connected by a theme. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Stay safe!

Answer: Congrats to @CleverRuse for correctly identifying the 11/8/98 "Fee" and the 11/8/96 "Mike's Song, both played on November 8th (the same day the MJM dropped), taking home their first MJM win in the process! Check the blog for MJM483...

Pool_Pond I’m going with these:
Clip 1 is from Fee on 08/11/98
Clip 2 is from Mike’s Song on 11/08/96

Crap! I was pretty sure it was the 08/11/98 Fee, but I think you’re right! Take a listen to the 08/11/98 Fee sounds so very similar - very Ambient Jam-esque! But there is a different piano run that I think I missed with my pick. Also figured 08/11 and 11/08 was the connection.

Dang - Thanks @CleverRuse, that’s super nice of you!

Ya, I was at 08/11 and then 11/08 in ‘98, and I missed that 11/08/96 Mike’s by 1 show - there is that very distinct Fall ‘96 sound of Trey’s mini-percussion set.

Also, I too love those Fee outros. Have you heard the Fee->Antelope from 11/19/97? I’m guessing you’d like that one too.

uctweezer Harmonics laced Fee outros are great

Aside from the more obvious ones, I loved 2/14/03 Fee -> Taste too
