Runaway Gin - a Tribute to Phish raised over $8,000 for the Mockingbird Foundation over the past year, donated in memory of keyboardist John "Fitz" Fitzgerald, who passed away unexpectedly in January 2020. We appreciate their support of music education for children, and encourage you to check out Fitz (and all of four of them) laying it down...

What a wonderful thing to do, well done guys. I was lucky enough to catch one of Fitz’s last shows in 2019, he was a fantastic musician and will be very much missed.

First RIP Fitz, was really sad to hear about his passing. His contributions were always very important to what has made Runaway Gin among the very best Phish tribute bands.

What a truly great thing to do in his honor. $8,000 is a serious contribution to the Mockingbird Foundation and a great way to remember Fitz. Thank you @RunawayGin for including mbird and phish.net in your rememberance of his years out there. And here's to a lot more great live shows with Jennifer!
