Welcome to the 388th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the last penultimate and most difficult of September. The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the songs and dates of all three mystery clips. The clips are connected by a theme, but the theme needn't be part of the correct answer. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Good luck!

Note: I just realized I completely counted wrong - next week's MJM will be the last of the month. Oh well, this one will still be the hardest, but to make up for it, I'll go easy on the guessing crew the next two weeks.

Hint: These jams come from one famous month (same year) in the band's history.

Answer: Congrats to @garcia17, who has now crossed the halfway mark to the MJM Hall of Fame by nabbing his fourth win! This week he used the hint and his ears to dial in that August '93 sound, identifying the 8/7/93 "My Friend, My Friend," the 8/26/93 "Runaway Jim," and the 8/17/93 "David Bowie." If it's been a while, do yourself a favor and check out all three of those glorious jams. MJM389 drops Monday Tuesday!

ChemistryChris I know (or at least I think I do) what song and era this is. Going to take some digging.

ucpete Hey friends - travel changes led me to get home at 2 am last night so this week’s MJM will go up tomorrow instead.
