gladtobeglenn that's the club the dead played in the 80's. can't remember the exact date but i've got the cassette somewhere!! jerry was playing a rented stratocaster due to the spontaneous booking of the club. if i had a time machine...

mikh2wg This show was the first Phish tape I ever got. It was summer 96, I think right before the Clifford Ball. Since it was my first time listening to a whole Phish show, I was totally blown away. I wrote a very passionate review of on rec.music.phish. I got lots of responses. No one agreed with me. The consensus, at the time, was that this was a lackluster performance. I haven't listened to it in a very long time, but seeing it here on the blog makes me feel kinda vindicated. Suck on that, people who replied to my post 16 years ago!

Thanks for putting it up as the Video of the Week. Ah, memories.
