This show started with bad sound problems, resulting in the band aborting two attempts at a Chalk Dust Torture opener. After the first Chalk Dust failed, the band said a round of "thank yous" and Fish added "good night, we'll see you next time." Antelope contained a vocal jam in the intro and a Jean Pierre tease from Trey. YEM contained Who Knows teases. The YEM vocal jam was partially based on burgers. Before Terrapin, Fish was introduced as “the late Henrietta,” and then commented that he is no longer Henrietta, but has not yet thought of a new name. He and Trey introduced Chris Kuroda (as “Cooter,” with a “Charge!” tease) and Colorado fan “Erik the Viking.” Terrapin included a brief Whole Lotta Love jam. Weekapaug contained a Theme from Bonanza tease by Trey.

Review by DaReba

DaReba pretty keeeewwl to hear a show where the original opener was scrapped!!
Nice Llama.. they were feeeling themselves at htis point in their career. Theses colorado shows are all classic for taper heads cuz it shows the effectiveness of this band's philosophy over others. they hadn't played many shows out ther but they were TAPED!!!!!!!!!!

tight LLama
Early You Enjoy Myself. always a good sign. Trey actually asks everyone if the sound is working during the begiinning of the orchestrated part of the song. the jam is led by a mike them but Trey destroys it!!

then a nice musically obvious combo of Landlady->Destiny Unbound! My top threee chorus Phish sings. sick guitar work at the end hat gives us a peak into 97!! I'm no phish expert but the end of the middle part before the last verse was aa part never played agian or just played so perfect here that I never recognized that's what they were trying to play....
Bouncin lol
But still if they played this set-list now people would poop they're pants..
Fish kills this Melt.
I love pre 94 Reba's !! the comforting sound of the quality of recordings mixes perfect wit the non grand piano stylings of the band. And they were playing for keeps on this song . The most difficult song in their repetoir, to this point. A hard groove starts the jam and Trey works his way up and we get a solid cascading REBA..........

TheEmu Good show, pretty straight up 3 stars, I think. A typically nice YEM and a fairly crazy Antelope. Also, about the most amped-up Oh Kee Pa I've ever heard.
