Notes: For his vacuum solo in I Didn’t Know, Trey introduced Fishman as “Mr. Ralph Blowenstein.” Limb By Limb was unfinished. Trey made several comments during the show regarding his affinity for the venue. Hood included a small vocal jam during the intro.
DL'd this show for the Reba. A rare show-opening version, but I was pretty disappointed. I liked it slightly better the second time I listened to it, but overall it seems like they applied the Farmhouse-era groove thing to a Reba and forgot to add the sauce at the end. Some people may enjoy this, but I find it to be kind of uninteresting as Rebas go. I'd give it a B- to be generous.
That said, the rest of the show is pretty darn nice! Moma and First Tube were pretty smokin', as was Caspian's (if you're a fan of the F***erpants). Limb By Limb is a stellar version, and the Piper is nothing to sneeze at, either. Reba aside, definitely a solid 4 star show, IMHO.
The 2nd set was much better then the first set.
Set 1 Highlights: Reba was sick,Caspian was rocking,YEM
Set 2 Highlights: Transition of limb>2001!!,piper is very good
