I got tremendously lucky and scored front of board tickets for this Santana show. I got to the big dirt hill they call a parking lot at the Greek just a bit late, so I could hear "Poor Heart"� being played as I came into the ticket area. The audience was mostly prepared for Santana, so they didn't pay much attention to the band through "Stash"�. It was hard, I think, for the band to sound good with so many empty seats, but once they got going through "The Squirming Coil"�, they really had captured the audience. They got a nice ovation at the conclusion of their set, and Carlos went on to rip it up as he can do on any night of the week!

This is another nice sounding board recording for the Summer Santana Tour. Great sound.

Poor Heart starts things off with a good bluegrass vibe. Stash has some troubles early on from Trey but, it turns out really good in the end. Page's piano is also missing for a while, but that gets taken care of in Stash. Coil is really good. They have been playing this one a lot. Nice Page solo, of course. Llama is also pretty standard, in a good way, and expected since it got cut off last night. Sweet Adeline closes the set up nicely.

Great set, well played. It didn't have that energy of being chased like last nights episode when they were late. The great recording makes it well worth the listen.
