This song is a day after ear-worm. On 7/26/17, it was tumbling over and over like a sneaker in the dryer all day as I made my way around NYC to return to the Garden.

Sometimes, I'll find myself singing it at work (the "misread" of the lyrics as I originally took them), "Monday! Won't you please slow it down." There is a hectic pace to my weeks, and this imagined lyric fit the tune and tempo, and it tumbled.

Here I am, three years later, and the song is ear-worming again after just having watched "Dinner and Movie" episode 3. "One day, when the beats slow down."
