set 1
Runaway Jim opener!! pretty sick from start to finish. Fissh's rolls in the break before the jam are a sign of things to come. Trey takes us on a rolling guitar journey. one of the best Jim's I've heard. I love the Jim from 3/31/93 (my fav tape) This is a great mother to that JIm. awesome. Crowd went wild. you can hear eventhrough sbd lol
Foam .tight. so so page solo. Great drums at the beginning of Trey's solo.Trey continues his energy from th Jim and turns an alright Foam into an above average one. PAge brings the goods at the end an you hear how ,I think , they would like to end every Foam. Really pretty.
Bouncin is Bouncin. Crowd loved it. This crowd is awesome. very energetic.
MAZE!! PAge brings it . great solo. you know we're gonna hear Trey destroy it. The energy fro the crowd is too hgh and he's been on fire so fire. This is a non-stop guitar assault! lol I really am surprised Trey doesn't break more strings. CSn someone enlighten me if you have the answer. He shreds, mangles, jedi's, strangle, scream, wails . This maze is ridiculous..
Nice Esther. but it brought the energy down some. But what happens more often than not is that they come through with a monster song after Esther and Divided Sky is a monster opus
This Divided's orchestrated part is played perfect. The band is tight as hell, which is a good description for the whole year , really. TRey is just playing out of his mind. This Divided Sky solo would look insane if it was transcribed. must listen.
Glide and IDK are plated another sign the boys are having fun.
The fun continues when they start Antelope. The beginning is very playful Simsons tease. But the fun becomes a angry grooving Antelope jam that is jusut bananas. Mike takes this into a dark place for about a minute . Trey is follows his theme. IS sick. Wish it lasted longer. Trey brings the band to an almost halt and then they start running again. what a ride this is. Must listen. Top 10 Antelope for sure. The Mike is laying the groove while Page is banging perfect chords as he follows trey and Fish . The end is awesome. the go back into ply mode for rye rye rocco. All fall down signal. They are great showman.
Set2
Axilla is a fgreat set opener all the time
rift is great in 93. They kill it.
The good stuff the set starts with Tweezer.
We get the beginnings of Carini during this jam. You can hear Mike play the bassline clearly at about 9:50 and then he just works that out for the rest of the jam in a great blues Jam.
REBA Never seen a Tweezer followed by A !!!Reba!!! but we see one here.
TRey really gets into the lyrics on this one lol adding grunts and screams. its hilarious!!
