DollarBill Recording found! Well partially anyways...

I'm back here 11 years later after my first review to say I'm happy to hear 19 minutes of this opener set. This is 4 weeks after my first show. I really wish I could hear the front half of this as they seem hungry tonight. Especially Fishman on Jim! This is very tight, best behavior Phish, as they only had a half hour to convert new phans while opening for Santana.

Had to give it 4 stars to bump it up. They really are preforming at a high level in 92.

voopa Well, electric pianos don't have strings. As I recall Page played an upright acoustic piano at this show. Perhaps it belonged to the venue?

This was a good introduction to Phish for me. Living on the West Coast, I hadn't heard many shows, but had heard a little as early as '89. After receiving a copy of Nectar at the radio station where I was working, my interest deepened.

But even this set didn't prepare me for my next show: 3/22/93.

DollarBill No recording found. Another short set Santana opener. Looks like a regular set for this tour. I can't believe the balls they have doing Coil after replacing a piano string. Must have had a great piano tuner there. Maybe it's not as hard to tune up the electric piano Page had during that time.

Moving on...
