Foam contained a brief Dixie tease from Trey and Possum contained an All Fall Down signal. The guest trampoline jumper during Mike’s Song was then-nine year old fan Katherine Lang. Hydrogen contained the lyrics "I walk awakening on the misty fields of forever." Amazing Grace was performed without microphones. The Drums Jam featured Carter Beauford of the Dave Matthews Band; the rest of the encore (including the Phish debut of All Along the Watchtower) featured the entire band. All Along the Watchtower included a Theme from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly tease from LeRoi Moore. The opening act was Dave Matthews Band.

tillmanj My first show was totally by accident. I went with a girl I was really into because she wanted to see DMB. I spent the first set wandering around, but the opening chords of the 2nd set opener began a love affair that has lasted all these years. Girl forgotten, the boys took over, and the rest is history...

Review by Faht1

Faht1 Absolute solid 2nd set not just because of the encore which by the way was fantastic especially the drum jam. The Maze was very energetic along with Fluffhead. Mikes Song is one of the best versions to any song in the first half of the 94 spring tour. You can tell the band was starting expand there horizon with there songs. This set is a must hear. Very fun show

Wolf75 First show for me, listened to them for a year or so and just went, only a 1/4 of the LJVM was open, never heard of Dave Matthews Band at that time either, but the girls that came with did. I was blown away by the energy, and was totally hooked.

Review by BroMcDudical

BroMcDudical IMO this show is much better than what meets the eye here on paper on the .net (given its 4.1 score, 2 noteworthy jams, lack of reviews). You might be inclined to skip it... well DON'T! Some of the most confident playing I've ever heard from the guys. Disease, Maze, and Mike's are awesome. The show is rock solid.
