To commemorate April Fool’s Day, Fish got decked out in a black dress with a feather boa around his neck. During I Didn’t Know, Trey introduced him as “Tommy Dorsey’s third cousin twice removed” prior to Fish taking a trombone solo. Bowie included Landlady teases as well as Oom Pa Pa, Will the Circle Be Unbroken?, Get Back, Aw Fuck!, and Random Note signals. Carolina was performed without microphones. Mike teased Heartbreaker in Good Times Bad Times.

Review by Faht1

Faht1 Foolish rating on this show from dotnet. I urge you to go and listen to this Brother, It's Ice and Runaway Jim. That alone makes it slightly above average show. I would put this Its Ice up there with some of the better It's ice from 1992! Set 2 was a little meh. I will give you that. Nothing worth noting. Tweezer had something going but ended prematurely. The 4 song encore was good. Overall a lot better than what this rating is telling you guys. 3.5/5 stars.

Review by Zebraloaf

Zebraloaf My first show. Knew very little about the band other than their regular top 5 spot in HIGHTIMES Pot-100. Had heard some bootlegs and knew I liked what I heard but had never really listened to Phish at this point and had no idea what to expect. Well, by shows end I knew I had witnessed something very special, and that I wanted to see it again, and again, and again. 22 years later I have my tix for Northerly and Dicks on the way and will be doing the entire NYE run...along with any Midwest dates that might show up on a fall tour, but even if they don't I will be hitting 9 shows this year which will make it my Phishyest year so far at age 45. Songs that stick out in my hindered memory:
Bouncing
Brother
It's Ice
Uncle Pen
Tweezer
YEM
CDT
Cracklin Rosie(cuz there's nothing...like feeling phoolish!)
...and all 4 Encore tunes.
But what I remember most are the expressions on the bandmembers faces...they were having so much fun, and always checking out the crowd and making eye contact and smiling like they couldn't not smile if they tried...oh, and Trey's Languedoc had me mesmorized...great stuff.

Review by DollarBill

DollarBill Average show, pretty good first set. ATR has gotten tighter. Bowie was a little sloppy. Rare barbershop first set closer.

Second set is ok. Mike makes YEM a little sloppy but the vocal jam is great. Horse>Silent is tighter. Fun Tweezer. Horn is sloppy. The back end is pretty good. This was a weak night for Mike.

The multiple encores make this a slightly better than average show for this time period.
