radiator9987 First set seemed off, much like last night. Mike's was a little slow and a mid first set DWYS is, um, odd. They redeemed them selves with the Reba (sans whistling) into Izabella.

Set 2 is another story, the CDT opener opened into a series of Allmanesque jams that weaved it's way to a perfectly placed Plasma. They let Plasma percolate, giving it the proper space to breath before easing into the songs main theme and closing out the sets first segment. Monsters, as opposed to DWYS, was perfectly placed. One of the bands most affecting lyrics since 2009, it helped balance the explorations of CDT and Plasma while letting us catch our breath before gravity shifted and everyone started getting down. C&P sent the set into overdrive before landing in the unlikely set closer Fuego. Strange as it may look on paper, they really nailed it and the placement worked on several levels

The one song R&R encore was meh
