spreaditround PHISH, MONDAY 07/10/2000
DEER CREEK MUSIC CENTER
Noblesville, IN
Soundcheck: Ginseng Sullivan > My Soul, You Better Believe It Baby

SET 1:

Cars Trucks Buses: Standard. >

Wilson: Standard. >

It's Ice: The jam has a jazzy interlude thanks to Fish. >

Bathtub Gin: Another Summer 00 Gin that they take for a ride. High energy version that never slows down. Would recommend.

Buffalo Bill: Standard.

My Mind's Got a Mind of its Own:

Split Open and Melt: The body of work is fairly benign but everything that would typically be associated with the ending is hot and inspired.

Sparkle: Standard. >

Funky Bitch: Standard.

David Bowie: Standard.

SET 2: Gotta Jibboo: Standard. >

Sand: Trey on mini keyboard for minutes at a time. Cerebral version. Would be fun to relisten to this one given the right headspace. But many would consider this a boring version.

Twist: Standard.

Fee: Nice little jam tacked on to this one. >

What's the Use? Big and bold. I definitely had a moment during this at the show, was in awe of Trey. >

Limb By Limb: Strong, compact version. >

Loving Cup: Standard.

ENCORE:

Run Like an Antelope: Odd to play this at back to back shows. Standard version here.

Summary: Had a ton of fun, I mean it’s Phish at Deer Creek. But this show fell flat like Alpine. Would rate this as a 3.5/5, 3.896/5 (>50 ratings) seems awfully generous.

Replay Value: Bathtub Gin

Trey teased San-Ho-Zay in Twist and Stash in Antelope.
