thewiz I’ve listened to 4/5/98 more times than is healthy and I’ve always loved the funky Cavern so much. What a perfect cap to the Island Tour: a traditional closer that you can’t imagine being funky, so very Phish-y.

Never imagined they’d do it again after a one-off from 25 years ago on what’s arguably their best 4-day run of all time. What an absolute gift this band is. You truly never know what they might do.
