SET 1: Ya Mar: Standard.

Split Open and Melt: Good amount of tension being built in the late 7’s and well beyond as Trey vamps on one singular theme. Crowd responds in kind. Blood pressure…rising. This Trey theme if you will peaks in the late 9’s and then moves into what you would consider the typical, closing few minutes. Strong version for sure. Would recommend, it rips. Jamcharts does not recognize this version. But second song, first set? Yes, the band means business.

Esther: A+++ Perfection. Highly recommended. >

Chalk Dust Torture: Standard. Does have a short, dark, grimy little jam in the middle.

Weigh: Standard. >

It's Ice: Super cool with Fish on wood blocks and Page leading a terrific jam on the baby grand. Trey mimicking Page starting in the late 6’s is pretty incredible. Amazing how in tune they were with each other to be able to pull this off. They build up a bunch of tension and then release it back to the typical conclusion. Brilliant, definitely an all timer right there. >

Dog Faced Boy: Standard.

Taste: This tune at this time and this version just didn’t know what it wanted to be. Very meh.

The Oh Kee Pa Ceremony > Suzy Greenberg: Standard. Mike snaps off some nice lines during the very brief funk jam. Trey after Suzy is over repeats we will be back in 15 minutes about 8 times and then “Keep it Clean” – sure thing Trey – you first dude, lol.

SET 2: Timber (Jerry the Mule) Good opener, nice and intense >

Sparkle: Standard. >

Simple: Standard. >

Prince Caspian: Standard. >

McGrupp and the Watchful Hosemasters: Standard, but I remember being really into this one at the show. >

Run Like an Antelope: Awesome Antelope, lots of dissonance in the early going sets the tone. Major throwdown in the climax. Blistering heat. All timer. Trey just keeps going and going!

Hello My Baby: Standard.

Golgi Apparatus: Standard.

Possum: Killer funk opening! The Dave’s Energy Guide stuff is super cool and intricately twisted into the backbone of the song. I clearly remember me and my girlfriend dancing like mad at the very top of the lawn to this, so much fun.

ENCORE: Sample in a Jar – Standard.

I think the current rating that is on Phish.net is fair - 3.804/5 (107 ratings) – the show is good enough – better than average but doesn’t necessarily push or certainly break any boundaries or new ground. We had a ton of fun though and this was the first time we had seen Phish at the same venue on back to back nights and our first Phish camping experience which was incredibly fun.
