spreaditround SET 1: Punch You in the Eye: Standard. >

Sparkle: Standard. >

Stash: For my money, it seems that it is Page that guides this into a major key jam for about a minute and a half. It doesn’t go all 3.0 bliss jam or anything (thank goodness), but it does have an upbeat sort of element to it. Trey holds most of that back. Pretty cool. Would relisten and recommend.

Ya Mar: Some fun banter from Trey RE: the iguana. But wouldn’t care to seek this one out personally.

Gumbo: Standard.

Taste: Standard.

Lawn Boy: Standard.

Ninety-Nine Years (and One Dark Day), Hold to a Dream, Doin' My Time: Good stuff here, nice collaboration. Wonder how many fans at the time would of know who Tim was? I would not have.

SET 2: Runaway Jim -> Gypsy Queen[3] -> Runaway Jim: Outstanding! They Gypsy Queen segment comes early on in the jam, at 8:30. When it hits, it’s fantastic. Treys trills at 9:17 are top notch! Approximately, one minute later they are easing back into normal RJ territory with a Page led jam and Trey (I assume) on his mini drum kit. This doesn’t go on for too long and they eventually find themselves in a typical wrap up. Awesome! >

Free: Standard.

Colonel Forbin's Ascent > Fly Famous Mockingbird: Cool narration, but Mockingbird is quite sloppy >

Possum: Has a section that dives down deep into some minor key, sinister style of playing – this goes on for over three minutes. Great way to build up the tension. Good release, not great. It’s definitely cool and noteworthy. Would recommend for that reason alone.

Life on Mars? – Standard. Pages vocals are strained in a couple spots.

You Enjoy Myself: Solid YEM! Mike has that liquid sounding effect early on. Trey is fairly patient with the jam and eventually gets to ripping it properly. Wouldn’t necessarily seek this one out but wouldn’t kick it out of bed for eating crackers either.

Hello My Baby: Standard.

ENCORE: Bouncing Around the Room – Standard.

Golgi Apparatus: Standard.

Summary: Good solid show for sure. The real centerpiece is the Runaway Jim – Gypsy Queen jam – an all-timer in my eyes. A workmanlike show if you will. Feel that Phish.net’s rating of 3.877/5 (73 ratings) is a solid representation of what this show holds for the listener.

Replay Value: Stash, Runaway Jim, Gypsy Queen, Runaway Jim, Possum
