Review by doctorabe

doctorabe I'm at a relatively paltry 19 shows (tying my GD count), thinly spread out nearly 30 years, so, I am no expert, but I do agree with SGALLIVAN and KWDUB24 above that this was a stellar show, and that fans on this site seem ungenerous with their ratings these days. Maybe the stack parking soured some moods? I was blown away with the type 2 jamming that began in Ghosts and carried through the first set. Then, they came back for more. I thought the 2nd set was daring with the choice selection. The exceptional playing kept going! I heard Trey make totally fresh sounds with his guitar I never previously heard. The band on the whole keeps raising the bar, and they are not resting on their laurels. I left remarking that this was the best Phish show I have seen. Of course, I must have made that comment for a good half-dozen shows I previously attended. Maybe that's my naivete, but, so what? It's OK to love more than one show! I still want to hear this show again today.
