Review by Bathtub_Zen

Bathtub_Zen Great show following a strong goose set. Goose's "This Old Sea" feat. Trey was a particularly high point not only in the evening but in the tour. There was a sweet, almost romantic energy from This Old Sea that seemed to resonate throughout the rest of the night. The TAB show brought its signature energy, but in this 4000 capacity college arena, the young folk were all anxious for Goose to join at the end--a treat held back until the very end. The MVP of Trey's set was percussionist Cyro Baptista who travelled around the stage with various percussion toys, passing them out and finding ways to make them interact with the others' instruments. It all came to a fantastic conclusion as the whole collective gang got together for Suzy Greenberg, featuring Peter Anspach filling in for Jon Fishman's vocal interludes between verse and chorus--an uncanny impression that exhibits his love and understanding for the silliness of Phish as well as the opportunities provided by the song's musical landscape. I drove 6 hours in a snowstorm to see it and I'd do it again.
