Review by spreaditround

spreaditround SET 1: Chalk Dust Torture > Harry Hood > Wilson: Standard, other than the super unique placement for Hood. >

Maze: Trey takes the tension to another level on this one and delivers a KO with the finale. Brilliant Maze. >

Ha Ha Ha > Suspicious Minds > Hold Your Head Up > Cars Trucks Buses, Bouncing Around the Room, Free: Standard. >

Possum: Definitely has a bit more juice than your run of the mill version.

SET 2: Tweezer Reprise: Another big surprise! Super cool. >

Runaway Jim: Standard. >

It's Ice: Creepy and weird. Plenty of replay value. >

Bathtub Gin: -> Rotation Jam: Like the DWD from Philly, I appreciate the effort. It takes a lot to get out in front of a crowd such as these dedicated folks and take these kinds of risks. I get it! But this is…not good. ->

Mallory: I have no words for whatever ‘this’ is/was. >

Also Sprach Zarathustra > David Bowie: Definitely a solid segment with plenty of replay value.

Sweet Adeline: Standard.

ENCORE: Good Times Bad Times -> Tweezer Reprise: Rock stars at their first Spectrum gig!

Summary: Maze, Possum, Ice, Bowie = plenty of meat here. This is a solid show! Look, they took another huge gamble and frankly, it did not pay off. But good on them for trying. I think the 4.137 rating is completely right on the money, as such – count me in for a 4.1 out of 5.
