Review by DemandOpener

DemandOpener The Fall 1990 Colorado run seems to be much better received than the rest of 1990 for a lot of Phish.net. What does this mean? Well, I have a feeling it means that much of Phish.net that are scoring these shows have not listened to most of the rest of 1990!

While there are some good things to be found here (including a fantastic AUD recording that is cleaner than just about anything else you could hear from this era), this is mostly just another 1990 Phish show. Apart from an early, well-played Llama, and tight performances of just about every Phish standard (see: Possum), there's just not a lot to sink your teeth into. Give it a shot, as usual, if you're looking for an example of what the band was like during those years where mega jams didn't grow on trees. Well played songs by the greatest band ever, but not much else. 3 stars.
