Review by DollarBill

DollarBill This is technically the only show at Liberty Lunch because the '91 show was cancelled, 24th of the tour and pretty average for this year. Decent recording and a pleasure to hear because someone faded the tape flips in and out so there were no awful cuts.

Nice Llama to open up with. Good Horn and Curtain followed. Melt was just ok, not great. Fish fell off a little at the end of an ok Mound. Punch is still getting better, but Trey fell off a little in the Land Lady section. The whole back end of Bouncing through Jim was pretty well played. Golgi was nice and dynamic. This was a reasonably good first set.

Rift was ok to open second set, maybe a few off spots. Tweezer was good, but pretty standard. Reba had some off spots, but a nice dynamic jam. Paul was also dynamic. Maybe they have been working on this in practice? Then the balls come out and Page almost waits for Trey as he gets his guitar on for the last note. Right into a nice FEFY which sounds a little misplaced, but when is the right time for a ballad? YEM was pretty solid and has a fun vocal jam as usual. HYHU brings Fish out to complain about HYHU. He then forgets the second verse of Rosie and freaks out! Things stay crazy as Trey busts into Mars and Fish mockingly yells at Mike throughout the ending. There really is a funny exchange between fans on the recording during the average Adeline closer.

Poor Heart was an unexpected encore, and this one still has the extra solo progression at the end of Page's solo. Tweeprise, on the other hand, was expected and it's a standard way to close up shop for the night.

Pretty good show overall, but nothing too earth shattering.
