Review by DollarBill

DollarBill Fifth show on Fall tour. This one's not quite as hot as last night's show as far as playing. The stage banter is all over the place. Kind of a Mike show tonight. Not a bad recording but, not crystal clear either.

Good Jim to start off with while getting settled in. Foam is pretty normal as is Glide. No real problems. Melt is a nice jam and dynamic. Haven't heard this one in a while. Rift was ok except Trey blows the end a little. Not quite locked in yet. Guelah is good and contained announcements from Trey for some reason before the Fly. Page is called the referee in reference to his new striped shirt. Divided Sky is good. A rare Mound comes out tonight. Not bad. Bouncing is the usual. Memories is hard to hear with the shushing, and sounds like they misfired and had to start over. You can hear the crowd tease Carolina again too. Trey also gives sound advice in the Bowie intro for some reason. Tired of people telling them to turn up Mike? The very first Vibration of Life is also attempted during the Bowie intro. "Did it work?" Trey asks. Bowie itself was not bad. A little disjointed at the end. Ok first set overall.

Poor Heart is kind of a strange opener tonight for second set although well played. Stash has got some problems tonight even with Fish's part. Not sure what the deal was but, they all had their moments in this one. Coil continued to be a bit rough from Mike. Not bad overall. This might be part of the joke as another Walk the Line shows up. I still don't get it. It's a fun gimmick but, doesn't do much for me. Llama rips as usual. Woo Hoo! Another new Mike song as Weigh make an appearance too. Pretty good considering they hardly ever play it. Very dynamic also. Mike's Song is pretty good. Hydro has it's usual problems. Weekapaug is hard to judge because of the Big Ball Jam in the middle. Not bad, I guess. Very funny stage banter, a sing along on Lengthwise and a Q and A segment with Fish and his mom. I think the best part was when she answered; "He dressed practically like he does now." Funny stuff. Cavern is a good closer. Mediocre set.

Quiet Monkey to start off with and Fish gets a second chance at his vocal solo too. Not bad. Rocky Top is disjointed but, still rocks to send everyone home happy.

Strange show. Just kind of average for me, even with the funny stage banter.
