The all-volunteer nonprofit Mockingbird Foundation will be the beneficiary of the BellingJAM Music & Arts Festival next weekend - Saturday, August 23, noon to 10pm, in a fabulous and exciting takeover of the Downtown Bellingham, WA, Waterfront District. This is a free, all-ages celebration of live music, art, and community connection, and will include live performances by Willdabeast, GLYF, TRYIN', and Vibacious.
Sponsors include the Waterwheel Foundation, Copysource, Pineapple Productions, Bellinghome School of Music, Beverly School of Music, Grand Alliance Music, and Run Signal Media, who are organizing and coordinating the event. Prizes will include music lessons, massages, gift cerficates, Ben & Jerry's pinrt coupons, a cool WaterWheel print, and select Mockingbird Foundation items, including one copy of the out-of-print, impossible-to-get third edition of The Phish Companion.
