Speed Up Security On Summer Tour!

Tired of waiting for security to go through your bag on the way into a show? Toss your stuff in a clear backpack with two compartments, elastic mesh side pockets, zipper closures, adjustable shoulder straps… and the Mockingbird Foundation logo. Ideal for the growing number of events and venues that are only allowing clear bags, and may help speed entry everywhere. Plus, a great conversation starter: Proceeds benefit music education for children, through an all-volunteer organization run entirely by fans of the band.

ucpete I saw an entire bachelorette party of maybe a dozen women get turned away at the gates of Frost Amphitheater at JRAD this summer - after waiting in the half hour-long line to get in - because they had the nerve (I’m being facetious if that’s not clear) to think they could bring their small purses with minimal personal effects into the venue. They had to walk all the way back to their cars to leave them there - a terrible place to leave valuables in the Bay Area by the way, what with all the break-ins - and then wait in the same inefficiently processed security line, all after the show had already begun.

This is all to say that with these bags, they could have saved themselves a headache and at least 40 minutes of show enjoyment. Frost isn’t the only venue with this policy, and I’m guessing it will be come more commonplace .. add in the fact that you’re supporting children’s music education and it’s a wonder you’ve read this far when you could be buying a bag!

MiguelSanchez I’ll never understand why someone has to bring a backpack into a 3 hour rock and roll show but if you’re the wook that must, might as well support a good cause.

User_34095_ Just placed an order for one. I am hitting Welcome to Rockville, JazzFest, and a few other shows where a backpack is needed. =D I also needed an excuse to support Mockingbird.

jdkrug It was a requirement to have a clear bag if you needed it for people attending Ariana Grande's most recent tour.

Still might be helpful for me to get one for entering work at Nassau. I'll be ordering one.

DaleCooper Lotta schools mandate that students must have clear backpacks as well. Looking forward to getting some of these.

Plenty of reasons -- poncho in event of potential rain, water bottle, place to store long-sleeved shirt or jacket, storing anything an individual may not want to carry in their pockets, etc.

unoclay I have to say, I second the motion that the optimal solution is to just not bring a backpack at all.

If you're bringing more than you can carry in your pockets, you're bringing too much stuff for a show like Phish. This isnt a picnic campout. This is a dance party.
