Auction Held For Whyweigh

An auction is being held to benefit Shawn Williams, who was injured in a car accident on his way to Telluride, Colorado on August 8, 2010. Shawn (aka “whyweigh” or “liquidgoggles” on PhishPosters.com and week4paug.net) has a broken neck, broken ribs, a broken pelvis, a broken hand, and swollen internal glands and remains in Denver with family.  Many people have donated their Phish collectible items to be auctioned to help pay Shawn's medical expenses.

EsthersDoll I heard he was flown home to Pittsburgh but will continue to stay in a hospital there for several weeks.

I hope he recovers ASAP.

benevolution I wish I had something phish-related to throw into the auction. I'm in Pittsburgh too so I shouldnt have a hard time finding my way to a donation fund through local channels. This city is world-renowned for the quality of its medical centers, so have no doubt he will be in good hands.
