rchapin5 Sad to hear of John's passing. I was a computer science student focusing on graphic design at UMass when he worked the animation lab in the mid 90s. We weren't super close but ran into each other in the lab quite a bit. He was always fun to talk to and willing to help out with any questions I had. Got to catch him play live with yeP! at the Iron Horse for what I believe was their Halloween show, 1994 if I'm remembering correctly. Last time I saw him we randomly bumped into each other on the concert field at Lemonwheel. We only chatted briefly but what I remember most was just how happy he was. It was a look of pure joy that I'll always remember about him. RIP buddy!
