The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Please play at Marlins Park in Miami because the roof opens and closes and the ballpark is already fish themed. I also want to volunteer and umpire for a waterwheel vs divided sky charity whiffle ball event. We can set up a preshow game with the band members split on different teams along with CK 5 and Tom Marshall and also Jim Pollock and his wife Jenny can participate. I know that Rick from head of security would also like to play a charity game. My occupation is baseball and softball umpire so I can volunteer to officiate the action. My family would love to attend and I know eventually Phish will play my home state of Florida. Pollock can create an amazing print for a 4 night run in Miami it’s such a fun city. We loved big cypress and every show at American Airlines arena but Marlins Park is phenomenal and very comfortable with the roof and AC.
