I have to say I could not agree less with your overall sentiment about this show. First set was average, sure (although pebbles and marbles as an excuse to extend a beer break? Whah?!) but second set?! The Mr. Completely and Ruby Waves are both absolutely scorching brilliance - to these ears, while those jams may not be behemoths time-wise, they are just so dense and intricate and exploratory. They’re pretty much tied for jam of tour in my mind right now. Combined with the gorgeous If I Could, an average great Twist and the ripping 1-2 punch of no men’s> first tube at the end I think that might actually be the best set of tour so far! I’ll take two unique and inspired 20ish min jams over a 40+ min “we’ll get there by minute 25” jam any day. No offense but it kinda sounds like you were just in a bad mood anyways? I’m truly sorry that you witnessed that and felt it was a “dud.” Better luck next time!
