kmp30 The running man! There was a lot to cheer for in this show but we kept hearing the crowd randomly erupt around us. I was so psyched how many people were just cheering at the kick butt show. Then we noticed the runner. Then we noticed him again, running past us on the lower lawn sidewalk literally all night. He was like a metronome laugh track on a sitcom, except he was prompting cheers. I said to my wife, “they’re cheering the runner every time he runs by, not the music necessarily.” So we observed, at least we observed when we remembered to observe. I kid you not every time he ran by something in the show itself was cheer-worthy. Mind you we weren’t just watching for him but every time we noticed him something happened in the show, be it the Scarlet Begonias tease, the Connection and Thread bust-outs, every Tweezer jam mind blowing segment, the Scents intro, the start of Crosseyed… my point is that we weren’t totally convinced one way or the other if the crowd was cheering for him or the totally rocking show that seemed to have a cheer worthy moment every 5 minutes or so.
