CTB is a definite nod to the split highways of Jersey and Atlantic City DC Bag added an additional nod to Jersey, the band putting their money where their mouth is.

Thought the 64 minute first set was abruptly ended with Trey running off like he was about to get struck by lightning. Or by one of the monsters that live inside Kuroda’s light rig.

My view from the couch saw precision from Trey in composed sections. Like tight like tiger precision especially in that Rift. Love me some exploratory jam but I am also keen to tightly played composed sections. That is the result of song repetition this tour and welcomed by this narrator.

Tweezer came correct at first and went into meandering mode slightly but loved the midnight rider tease. Second set had a roller coaster energy vibe to it. While it stayed at pretty hot pace the momentum got throttled slightly. Aside from that excellent playing with strong interplay. Not as much darkness as I would have liked knowing what they have been capable of but that did not detract from my enjoyment.

If they had shelfed more and extended hood that would of been a nice cap to the second set but Loving Cup encore was the perfect send off.
