Excellent perception of SPAC. We both got on the bus on the same spring 1993 tour. This second Tweeprise, with no NY Tweezer, transported me instantly to the excitement we shared after 1998-04-03's e) Carani> Halley's> Tweeprise to close Uniondale, NY first of two stops on Island. The energy after that massive set was pure disco energy gone turbo during the Loving Cup Peak! That was monetarily perfect for the vibe of the house! Not till after did I say hey wait a minute? Obviously, as we heard the first few notes of 1998-04-04 in BOSTON grins filled the Civic Center, everyone seemed to mention Tweezer would open one of these Massachusetts sets that afternoon (that don't happen as often as I would think)? Who doesn't enjoy being correct? Mike's Bass in this fluff is gorgeous. Followed by Guyute, Martian, Llama (hoping for that slow Lama to return from fall 2018). Crazy is another welcomed tune, of course Horse > Silent STILL don't mind rift ballads, anytime.
With a bucket of New tunes, these type 1 classics in the first set have been interesting. Then these brilliant second sets that will take me a few more hours to appreciate them. I'm sure I'll be drooling in 3yrs! Plasma -> Tweezer Reprise > The Wedge > Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley -> Run Like an Antelope, More > Slave to the Traffic Light was another incredible closeout for a run of goodies!
We all know in summer lighting can be the difference between two sets, pure bliss and pure bummer. Im sure a set of type 1 goodies will be dropped on a second set somewhere. Probably mixing it up a bit. While being type 2, 3 heavy in first. Opened with a SLOW LAMA of course?
