fnkymtrs My first Phish show :-). I learned to ski on this little bunny hill. I went with a few work buddies, one of which I still hit shows with. We were in out late 20's, working professionals, and somehow I've managed to hit around 80 shows or so over the years - last one a few weeks ago here in Chicago where I now reside.

Big Birch is a very fond memory for me. I knew only a handful of tunes from Hoist so needless to say I was just dumbstruck, face melted, whatever you want to call it - hooked. Ridiculous jams, forming a human chain to remove all the chairs that seemed to explode into a big pile once the show started, great post and as I re-listen to this show it clearly stands the test of time.
