johnnyd He has been representing him for 30+ years, has been honest, has worked hard to get done the things he said he'd get done, and has been consistent his entire career.

I think those are the reasons.

You may not like those reasons. You may prefer a lazy, dishonest, flip-flopper with little to no experience in public service. That's your prerogative.
