funkbeard I know this show takes a lot of flack. But plans, take some perspective. Phish pulled out one of their biggest stunts of their career, introducing the Wilson chant to sports fans everywhere, and doing it in Seattle.

What must have that meant for this show? It means that Phish were going to introduce themselves to all the curious folks who want to know who this band Phish really are. Therefore, like a Bonnaroo performance, the band would be reeling it in for the evening, playing a concert not for the faithful, but for the uninitiated.

Take a listen to this show through the ears of a nooB, and ask yourself if they accomplished what they showed up to do. No big jams? No surprise. Was the overall flow of the evening relatively solid? Pretty much. Good show. One for the beginners, nonetheless.
