"MPP2 is 23rd highest rated show of all time? Clearly people aren't listening to enough early Phish. Lol"

MPP2 is one of the contenders for best show 3.0...and despite so slow starts, the best of 2012, 2013 and 2014 rank with best of Phish.

I've been seeing shows since '96, but got hooked in '95 listening to all my brother's tapes from '93-'95, including several epic Tweezer-fests.

I personally think the MPP2 set is up there with any of them, outside the rare few like Bomb Factory. MPP2 may have lacked that frenetic almost ADD energy of '93-'95 Phish, but it had 3.0's contemplative energy and flow, that I actually love.

I may be in the minority -- but actual like the long 3.0 Jams better than most long 1.0 Jamming. And I worshiped '97 Phish in its heyday -- yet now listening to Fall '97 so may of those 15+ min grooves are a bit boring to me now -- its a great groove, but usually similar, and often very repetitive for 10-12 mins at a time.
