phunkytime Incredibly inspired by the show and your recap. You were meant to review this glorious show. I will say i was a bit turned off by the begining part but am very glad I read through the entire piece. The relationship with the band and music is personal and I completely understand that, so thank you for expressing it so well in words. I cant believe this is my 5th year in a row (40 shows later) seeing Phish. For us new generation 3.0ers we are extremely lucky to experience our own hill where phish continues to push its boulder up and raise the level. Luckily the band is in a clean and content place where they are not limited or pressured. Anything can happen any night. Each year brings new phish and since 2009 it has gotten consistently better. Its a good thing that i kick myself in the butt for missing last night, but Im glad I got to experience the glory of Randalls, DTE and Chicago. Hopefully I can satisfy my craving for phishdicks at the end of the summer.
