dscott Amusing irony: When a usual-length version of a short song is played with extra oomph and/or unique twists, and the Phishier-than-thou types dismiss it as being "another sound-alike version."

Some songs simply aren't going to go outside the box, and I'm cool with that as long as the box's contents are reasonably fresh and intact.
