It's interesting to take the shows out of the context of their tours –or runs– and compare them against each other in a larger window of the year 2013. Personally, neglecting how most shows spell something shocks my brain and not including the Jones Beach Theatre is rather confusing in the larger context of 2013, the year. But I'm happy to enjoy reading this without being invested so much in the ranking of these shows. It's certainly difficult for anyone to take such a spectacular year and mob together a top ten list that's not merely tongue-in-cheek. But as for me, I dunno... I'm not good at these things myself so, whatever, my hat's off to you all. Thanks!
